Perbedaan Modem GSM dan Modem CDMA

The current modem is no longer a distant scarce expensive as it once was , the flood of internet users in the world to make the modem became popular among Internet users because they seldom hotspot to surf the internet for free

Currently there are 2 types of modems , the modem CDMA and modem GSM. Both types of modems certainly has its advantages as well as disadvantages. This time I will mengshare about the differences of these two types of modem .

Modem GSM

GSM uses the same channel for voice and data , so that if his voice was busy used then the data transmission can be interrupted so that usually the data connection to be slow . Modem that uses the GSM network using a number of technologies that will affect the speed :
Technology 2G / 2.5G ( GPRS / EDGE ) : 153 kbps max speed
3G Technology : max speed 384 kbps
Technology 3.5G ( HSDPA ) : max 3.6 mbps Speed
3.75 G technology ( HSUPA / HSPA ) : 7.2 mbps max Speed
4G technology ( LTE ) : Max speed 100 Mbps
For excess modem with GSM networks :
GSM modem has a very extensive network
Price is usually cheaper GSM modem
Almost all large urban areas already have a 3G network
For deficiencies with GSM modem :
Data access points and cellular pathways are not separate , so connectivity is less stable
Monthly subscription price is still relatively expensive

Modem CDMA

In contrast to using the GSM modem , the modem that uses the CDMA network has different channels for voice and data , so if the voice was busy sending data absolutely no effect . Modems that use CDMA networks using multiple technologies that will affect the speed :
CDMA 1x technology : Speed ??max 153 kbps
EVDO REV 0 : max 2.4 mbps Speed
EVDO Rev A technology : max 3.1 mbps Speed
Rev. B technology ECDO : max 9.3 mbps Speed
EVDO Rev B Class A : max speed of 14.4 Mbps
For excess modem with CDMA networks :
Data communications and cellular pathways separately , so that connectivity is more stable
Subscription price is relatively cheaper
To shortage modem with CDMA networks :
Prices are relatively more expensive modem
In particular CDMA EVDO network outreach is still not widely
